Pets and gardens

Manage your creatures at Home and choose a companion.
Garden, Stored, and Collection
Garden pets live on your purchased land. Stored pets remain in your collection without taking a Garden place. The species Collection records what you have discovered.
Garden pets can wander, nap, and be petted. An owned pet keeps its own identity and individual details when you move it between available assignments.
Choose a companion
Use Follow on an eligible owned pet to take it with you. Following and riding share one active companion slot, so choosing another companion replaces the previous selection.
Some species can be ridden. Other following species have a particular buff. The current pet information explains which benefit applies.
Feeding and petting
Pets have different diets. Offer Fish to a pet that eats meat or Banana to one that eats plants. A pet that eats both can take either.
Use the pet's available Feed or Praise action. Feeding and petting can give temporary benefits; the in-game information shows the current effect.
